Julie Needs Your Help!
Julie is a young black lab female that was hit by a
car just before Christmas. She was fed and cared
for by family for 6 days before she was brought into
the shelter. Her back leg is obviously broken - the
foot dangles uselessly. She needs surgery to repair
the broken bone. We do not know at this point if the
vet will be able to place a pin in her leg or if she will
need an amputation. The estimated costs for her
leg surgery and basic vetting (spay, vaccinations, hw
test and deworming) will be $535. Please help us
to ensure that Julie has a happy new year!
