Dixie Needs HW Treatment!!!
 Dixie is the black/white/brown dog in the pic. She was surrendered to the shelter with her friend, Precious, who is pictured with her. Their owners surrendered these two beautiful girls because they were moving and didn't want to take the family dogs with them. :( Poor Dixie has tested HIGH Heartworm Positive. We would like to raise the money to have her treated for heartworm and to pay for her basic vetting (spay, vacccinations, hw test and de-worming). This should make her a lot more appealing to rescues. Please help us to give Dixie the medical care she needs before the worms do permanent damage to her heart!!!! |
